About my books. I have written four contemporary women’s fiction series and am writing the fourth. If you’re not familiar with the genre, it follows characters’ relationships, real-life experiences, and emotional journeys. I chose women’s fiction because the stories are easily punctuated with mystery, suspense, romance, and humor. Two of my recent reader reviews for Blizzard at Blue Ridge Inn summed it up this way. “When I chose this book, I was expecting a nice and cozy story. What I found was so much more!” and “Can’t tell you how long I have waited for an original story line. I was so pleasantly surprised.“
I write series rather than standalones because I love creating stories that follow characters through multiple experiences and challenges. While the main characters remain throughout each series, each book introduces new characters. Some become part of the ongoing story, while others stay for a while then leave. My sweet husband claims my characters all live with us. Actually, they live inside my head.
