Thank you for stopping by for a visit. While here, discover why I’m proving it’s never too late to follow your dreams.
Most days you would find me in my recliner, writing. The piano in the photo? It didn’t take long to discover my musical ability is limited to listening. Too bad we didn’t buy a player piano. At least it looks good in my living room. Anyway, to relax I enjoy spending time with family and friends, tackling jigsaw puzzles or Sudoku, or dabbling in amateur photography. Except in October when I decorate our home for Christmas, my favorite holiday.
On a more serious note, I’m grateful for the blessings that brought joy into my life and the challenges that continue to strengthen my faith, skills, and resolve. During the spring, summer, and early autumn of my life this side of heaven, my high-school-sweetheart husband and I struggled and triumphed through life’s peaks and valleys. We raised a son and a daughter, welcomed four grandchildren–one lives with the angels–bought a Corvette, and checked off items on our travel bucket list. Tim and I continue to celebrate our fifty-plus-year marriage. This is us enjoying our fiftieth at the Inn in Little Washington, one of the last destinations on the list.
A highlight of my author journey is connecting with readers through personal contacts and social media. I’d be honored to become your friend and learn more about you.
I‘d also like to send you the link to an award-winning short story about a character in the Willow Falls series. Simply click on the newsletter tab and send me an email.
While I don’t blog on this website, I enjoy guest posting for other bloggers. Below are examples of my posts.
